I’m a software enthusiast. I love solving problems and finding new, and better ways to do things. Some refer to me as a work-aholic, but I like to think I’m just someone who enjoys what I do.
I’ve been building on AWS since 2011, and these days it’s almost entirely serverless and event-driven.
My roots are in the Microsoft ecosystem, going back to the Visual Basic 4 days. Most of my work now lives in TypeScript and the AWS serverless world, but C# is still a language I love, and I’m always glad for an excuse to work in .NET.
I play in a lot of spaces, but my passion is helping teams build great products at a fast pace. These days that means leaning into what AI is doing to how software gets built. The SDLC is quickly becoming the AIDLC, and I want to embrace that shift without losing the judgment that makes software worth shipping.
Work with me
I consult independently through Jason Wadsworth LLC: cloud architecture, hands-on development on AWS, engineering advisory, and fractional CTO engagements. If you’re building something and could use the help, I’d love to hear about it.
